I'm socially awkward, so I try to avoid people... but for some strange reason people notice this and just flock to me, I don't know why. I swear I am going to snap one day and beat-up a bitch.

Everyone is somewhat socially insecure, and when they see someone who’s chill and keeps to themself (unaffected by forced social norms and shitty hierarchies), they feel safe to stop acting around them to impress like with other people

Maybe they pity you and think you want friends, or think they are doing a good deed. I always hated that as an asocial person. Alone doesn’t equal lonely. I liked being alone but it sucked in elementary and HS because it was always promoted to be friendly to people because people always assume that everybody hates solitude. They thought they were being progressive and good. At least after high school, most people are mature and mind their own business
